Overall Satisfaction with PrinterLogic

We use Vasion Print to manage our printer deployment for 200+ end users spread out over 5 offices. Setting up Vasion Print has allowed us to retire a very old print server, a key component of upgrading security and improving our office infrastructure. Vasion Print also has improved the end user experience for easily connecting and staying connected to our printers.

Pros

  • allows us to centrally manage and deploy drivers
  • the utility gives a fairly uniform cross platform experience for connecting printers
  • we can more consistently keep end users set up with the proper settings
  • Vasion Print has FABULOUS support and their reps have helped me solve issues that were not even directly related to Vasion Print

  • The setup process, though well supported by Printerlogic engineers, was tedious
  • I needed to create a long install guide for our end users

Vasion Print has fantastic engineers and support reps. They are dedicated to making sure the setup is thoroughly tested and appropriate for the end user. We can centrally deploy printer drivers and updates when machines are upgraded. It's easy for the end users to connect at any or all of our offices from a central interface.
Vasion Print has absolutely helped us deploy and manage our print interface. We did retire an extremely old print server that was so old that a few years ago we were no longer able to install updated drivers. Now our real estate agents can easily connect to printers at any of our 5 offices.
Vasion Print was recommended by our network administrator and was the only option we explored. It seemed like the right solution for us so we began the evaluation process immediately and determined that it would suit our needs. They were flexible with our timing as we needed a little more time than the standard evaluation period to finish the setup.

This is a great tool for the real estate industry. We have 150+ individual agents who all provide their own computers. This gives one central path for connecting to printers. It's scalable and easy to administrate. I could see it being very useful in healthcare, education, really any medium to large network infrastructure.
