Overall Satisfaction with Procore

As an architectural design firm, Procore is invaluable to us to help manage a project through the design phase and especially throughout the construction administration phase.

We use Procore to easily manage file/background distribution, tracking, current drawing set, RFIs, submittals, etc. This allows us to keep better control over the management of our projects, which in turn allows us to provide a better product to our clients and help produce a better constructed product.
  • Drawing Set Management - Excellent system for keeping the project team connected with current drawings, but also keep an ongoing history of previous releases.
  • Document Management - Allows for an easy distribution and collection point for a project's shared document "pile". Document download is tracked, which helps track project background distribution during the design process.
  • Submittals - Tracking and reminders for overdue submittals helps keep the review process moving and on time.
  • File/Drawing Distribution Outside of the "Directory". Currently, files can only be sent directly to someone who is a Procore user added to your directory. Would be good to have a way to "quickly" send something to a directly inputed email address.
  • Integration of BIM data/models in a more integrated way.
  • Better mark-up tools.
-Far more user-friendly and easier to use than other management utilities.
-e-Builder in particular has a horrible user-interface and "level of enjoyment.
-PlanGrid has superier drawing mark-up utilities.
  • Has increased internal accountability for the project team.
  • As an architecture firm, hard to quantify a ROI financially, but has definetly helped management and organization.
Procore is an excellent construction project management software, but until recently lacked some of the more "in-depth" functionality of other software (recent upgrades, additions, and integration of apps and external software/utilities).
