Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Procore to manage all of our water/wastewater projects at a company level. Procore has helped us manage the information needed for a project (submittals, RFIs, etc.) into a cloud-based location accessible by anyone assigned to the project. The drawing feature has been the most useful in ensuring all projects and team members have the most current up to date drawings.

Pros and Cons

Manages all the drawings changes as they are distributed.
Allows for quick reference of all submittals and RFIs by field personnel.
Allows field personnel quick access to complete inspections and audits.

Budget and Cost are difficult to manage and does not allow changes to be made to satisfy difficult owners and engineer.

Return on Investment

We spend less time managing the submittal process and less time looking for the most current drawings.

Alternatives Considered

Procore is by far one of the most easy to use programs.

Other Software Used

AutoCAD, Sage 300 ERP

Likelihood to Recommend

Procore is well suited for larger projects that require a lot of submittals and where all team members may not be in one location. It makes managing all the process extremely easy and efficient. Procore is not well suited when owners or engineers have other software systems that may be required by the contract. Then there is just a duplication of information. If would be nice to see Procore integrate with other systems.
