Overall Satisfaction with Procore

Procore has been a great asset to our company in general construction, design-build, and construction management. It helps with project start up all the way to closeout. Submittals have never been so easy! Our clients that use it really appreciate having a hands on approach to what we are doing. They feel connected to the project and engaged with what we are doing on the back end to being the overall project to completion.

We have not yet integrated another system fully. We have been looking at integrating Sage 300 and have gone through a demo of the connector. I do this this will add value and remove some of the double work we face when using two systems. If all goes as planned this should be up and running soon.
Procore allows our field personnel to document on the daily reports tab in real time. Photos can be uploaded and any changes during the day be documented. These become a saved project file and can be distributed to the rest of the project team. They are very useful for project tracking.
We use Procore training as one of the first steps at becoming a new hire. Their training program not only trains new people on how to use the product it shows new employees how the overall flow of a project is suppose to go. It is invaluable and gets new hires confident and up to speed quickly.

Procore offers more features. They are definitely different and can be used for different types of projects and delivery methods. As a general contractor the tools that Procore offers are better suited to what we need. It does a better job of tracking and bringing the team together as one.
Great for dealing with sub contractors. Not so great for use when working for an AE that does not want to use the system. Getting buy in from the clients and other project team members is necessary. On a DB project you can make that happen contractually, on a GC project it just takes work..
