Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We are using Procore to hold our contract drawings. Our projects are commercial concrete construction projects. Procore helps us make sure our team is only using the most up-to-date drawings available on a project.
- Procore can easily identify the labels on the drawings
- It is easy to share drawings with vendors
- There is no ability to print drawings inside Procore. This is problematic because the whole idea of using Procore is to avoid using space on our server. In order to print a drawing it must first be downloaded. This defeats the purpose of using Procore. Once a drawing is downloaded one must delete the drawings or organize the download.... we are trying to avoid these steps.
- Our customers use Procore and share their drawings with our organization. Once we have access, we need to be able to share the drawings with our vendors. Keep in mind, our vendors do not have access (and should not have access) to our customer's Procore account. That being said, we have to download the drawings and then re-upload, and label the drawings in order to share them. It would be most helpful if we can take a mirror image of the customer's set and duplicate them in our company Procore account without the need to download and re-upload and relabel. Transferring a copy of the drawing set from our customer's account to our Procore account would be key to fixing this issue.
- Procore increases efficiency
- Procore allows us to save time
We do not integrate anything with Procore. We checked to see if Procore would integrate with our ERP, but we found it would not function as well as the other web-based software we already integrate to our ERP. We currently use Sage 100 Contractor ERP. We use TimeSummit/Exactime as an integration for timekeeping. TimeSummit/Exactime is a very robust tool that allows the men in the field to record start and end times, job #/name, and cost codes used throughout the day. Once the time is recorded in the field, we import the data to Sage 100 Contractor and payroll is complete. Procore fell very short in its ability to do what we needed in this area, so we opted to keep using TimeSummit/Exactime.
We do not use Procore for daily logs. Because we continue to use TimeSummit/Exactime we use their daily logs function as well. Time Summit/Exactime has a much more robust ability to take job notes, pictures, etc. to log activities in the field than Procore. Once the notes are recorded in the field, reports can be generated which show the time/date stamp when the notes were created.
Time Summit/Exactime uses GPS functions so we know if the field notes and time keeping was recorded when the individual was still on site.

We have not used or evaluated other softwares like Procore.
