Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Procore is used as a document control software. It is currently used in some of the projects on the West coast and estimating team (Corporate) planning to expand the implementation to other projects at this moment.
- Organizing and generating submittals.
- Preparing, organizing and logging meeting minutes and agendas.
- Daily Construction reports are very useful as well. They can be easily generated from the field on an iPad.
- Develop workflows for RFIs.
- Improve workflows for submittals.
- Make some modules more customizable.
Procore is way more intuitive than other products in the market. Overall that saves a lot of time in a big organization when it is used by more than 30 users on a project.
Having unlimited user licenses is the way to go in this market. Also, another great feature is that Procore develops the software and releases updates with no additional cost. They have a great customer service which is useful because some of the updates are coming from comments previously made by users.
Collaboration modules are a great feature "in theory". The truth is that there are some documents that cannot be shared with subcontractors or GC. Even though Procore has a great permissions feature, I think it could be improved.
