Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We utilize Procore across our whole company to manage multiple construction projects in several states. The ability to track jobs in real time and to have information available to all concerned parties was a major consideration for our purchase, in addition to Procore's ability to link with Quickbooks.
- I think the report functions are extremely useful, with that ability to pull data and review.
- Daily logs and time cards, all tracked in one place.
- We've recently added the Quality Control modules, and our outfield personnel think they will be very useful.
- The process for change orders is a bit challenging to get entered.
- From the financial side, I wish that we could push data down from Quickbooks, rather than up from Procore. Some of the cost code issues between Quickbooks and Procore are difficult, but that may be more of a QB issue.
Yes, especially on our South Dakota projects, the owner is able to review photos and reports on job activity, and we've used it often with subcontractors to make sure they're up to date on their portions of the project. We've also started using the assigned task functions, and that is working well for us.
- Saving time and paper, we are moving more and more towards digital archives, and Procore is a huge part of that.
- The tracking of projects has been a large part of our improved efficiency.
- Gain visibility into projects
- Ensure information is accessible and up to date
- Document job site conditions
- Streamline financial reporting
- Simplify employee time tracking
Procore has been an important part of our streamlining of financial reporting, and we anticipate that it will become even more useful. We utilize Procore to communicate to our outfield and in-house employees, as well as with the owners, subs, and vendors.
The time tracking for employees has shaved hours off of our payroll prep, and we use the payroll reports often to review the notes when looking at job productivity or issues.
