Overall Satisfaction with Procore

We are an electrical contractor. We use Procore daily to manage our submittal process and to store and manage our drawings. The daily problem that are solved with Procore is going to be the flow of information. Usually, we are sent updates and drawings and we have to manually give those to the foreman. With Procore, updates are automatically put in Procore with no effort on our part.

Pros

  • Submittals
  • Dependability

Cons

  • Drawings cannot be compared to older versions while offline
  • The submittal function has GREATLY increase productivity.
  • The up to date drawings save time for project managers.
We have not done this yet, but are planning to integrate with Quickbooks in the future.
We are still using this program as well. Between the two, PlanGrid works better for people without a constant internet connection. However, Procore works extremely well with the mobile app, submittals, and drawing updates.
If you use tablets that are NOT connected to the internet, I would not recommend this. Your on-site people have to connect to the internet to compare versions of drawings and get the updates. The phone app works great! It is so handy to have the photos option. These are available to everyone that has access.
