How Prophix Has Helped Us
Overall Satisfaction with Prophix
We use it for the entire company. We use Prophix for reporting, forecasting, and planning. It is used for all of our financial reporting, for our quarterly forecasting process, and for our yearly planning process. It is also used for any ad hoc reporting that our management team requests.
Pros
- It is our one source of truth.
- It allows users to monitor their expenses as the month progresses.
- It allows the management team to monitor sales plan progress throughout the month.
Cons
- Our experience with Prophix has been very good. Any problem that we have encountered they have helped us correct it.
- Allowed us to streamline the reforecast and budgeting process
- Allowed us to do Customer P & Ls and analyze our Customer's profitability.
The Prophix team did a nice job during the implementation process helping us set up data connections to pull the necessary data from Sage. They are also available when needed to answer our questions about setting up additional data connections or answering questions about flat file importing into Prophix.
It is very nice to have that flexibility. We currently run Prophix on premise but are entertaining the idea of going with their Cloud option. This change would allow us to take some things off our IT team.

Growing with Prophix
Prophix has allowed us to get all of our Financial information in one location so it is our one source of truth. As a company we have been able to get our Financial reports in Prophix and have been able to get all of our Executive team on Prophix so they have access to those reports anytime they would like to review them.
We use Prophix to track our headcount by department and by time period. This allows us to track our past, present and future needs and plans for personnel.
Our experience has been very good from the sales process, through implementation and all the way through today. The implementation process was very well organized. We are a part of their Customer Success Program so if we have questions that we cannot answer in Prophix on data integration, report set up or anything else we can set up a 25 or 45 minute call with one of the Customer Success personnel to answer our questions.
