Overall Satisfaction with Prophix

For consolidating, reporting, budgeting and forecasting. The accountants and executive use it for consolidating and forecasting. Our 25 different reporting units use it for report access and budgeting. Consolidating of reports and budgets was slow and error prone. All reporting was too time consuming. This has solved both of those problems.

We have replaced emailed flat Excel files with online templates that feed the consolidated reports. Also, our monthly reports were manually exported from our database onto Excel, formatted and delivered via email. Now our reports are delivered via a link to a live report.
The support has been great. There seems to be a genuine care and desire for a long term relationship. The system in place to service customers is timely and knowledgeable.

Customer service is great. I am happy with the reporting and budgeting capabilities. Accessories and options for charts, graphs and reports are basic and could be better. Model management and consolidating of accounts into reports is simple. Great options for continued learning for more technical and advanced features.
Prophix has a much more modern feel. Budget Meastro was not able to create an automated integration to our database. Budget Maestro's consultants did not have enough time in their budget to effectively train the accounting team. Reporting features in Prophix are much more robust.

Well suited for high level reporting. Less suited for more general detailed reporting.
Well suited for forecasting at the the low level/individual reporting unit. Not well suited for forecasting at a high consolidated level.
