Overall Satisfaction with Prophix

Primary Planning (Budget/Forecast) tool and financial reporting suite for main and individual entities as well as contract status and WIP reporting
  • Affordable
  • Excel Plug in is very useful
  • Model manager provides great flexibility
  • Excel Plug in can be glitchy and does no always save changes back to the server
  • Excel Plug in can only be used for ad hoc reports; if this had template functionality, would be a significant improvement
  • Task log error messages are difficult to interpret
  • Detailed budget roll up with line items to understand what activates drive spend
  • Flexible reporting for changes in account hierarchy or structure
Less reliant on excel based tools

Yes

Yes

Did implementation of Prophix go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Prophix again?

Yes

Well suited for annual budget and quarterly forecasting process. Template Studio provides flexibility to set up reporting based on the user's needs. Personnel (DPM) model is very detailed but we currently don't have functionality available to pull in actuals which makes analysis difficult.
