Overall Satisfaction with Pure Storage FlashArray
We have an ever expanding database for our main ERP, and PURE Storage helps cut processing and transaction times down to 1/8 of what they were on spinning drive arrays.
- Fast - very fast.
- We found our main IT vendor is no longer a partner with Pure Storage :(
- It has helped us to cut down on our processing time for all transactions, allowing our users to get to the next customer quicker.
Comparable performance to nimble. The reason we selected Pure Storage for our ERP storage is that other companies in our field have had success with implementing it in AIX.

Upgrading Pure Storage FlashArray
Yes - With PURE storage, there is no real downtime that I've experienced during the upgrade. We always took precautions with our database because a typical storage failover to a secondary controller can sometimes cause hiccups, however it went very smoothly and had the least noticeable software upgrade.

- In upgrading SAN software to a new release, I look for stability and bug fixes
