Overall Satisfaction with Qlik Sense
Qlik Sense is used internally for financial reports. The main audience for these reports are management and personnel with a financial target.
Qlik is also used for a client application providing management's views about application usage. The target audience here are (external) HR Managers who need insight about the usage of the application by their personnel.

Pros
- Apply filters on the data-set by clicking on any object in the visualization.
- Out of the box a great responsive experience on all devices.
- Ability to visualize big data-sets.
Cons
- No 3d visualizations are available. The default reports styles are boring and not slick.
- It is advertised as intuitive, but lower educated staff cannot cope with it without instruction.
- A limited number of visualizations is supported as standard. There are many addons available from the community, but not enough out of box.
- The quality of the financial reports has become much higher. This has improved insight. The fast and easy drilldown methodologies ensure that problems and successes are detected much faster.
- Reports on multiple data sources can be developed much faster because of the multitude of available connectors.
- The maintenance costs and hosting of the software on-premise are lower than originally estimated, because the software requires little maintenance.
- Migration from on-premise hosting to a full cloud version is still not possible. The development of Qlik Cloud is slow.
- The difference between Qlik View and Qlik Sense in features is still huge. Compared to the possibilities of Qlik View, Qlik Sense is very limited. However, Qlik View is in look and feel antique.
Power BI (Excel frontend) has slicker graphs than Qlik. Qlik is much better at drilldown and interactivly presenting a report. But when Powerpoint is used, the output of Excel is much, much more attractive than the standard boring graphs of Qlik.
