Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

Currently, we are using QuickBase for a stand-alone department. What's great about QuickBase is that it's fully customizable. Our department has to be able to adapt to change often and QuickBase gives us the flexibility to do so. From an administrator role, I am able to move remove or change the structure of our tables and reports which is exactly what we need.

  • Allows flexibility to be able to make changes as needed
  • Has a great tablet relationship system to be able to link information smoothly from one table to another
  • I'm still fairly new to QuickBase. I'm not sure if you are already able to do this but we are looking to set up a form and would like to have an electronic signature option as we will be using touch pads in the field.
With QuickBase, we have been able to improve within our department in all areas. The customizing option allows the flexibility of being able to add, remove, automate and to generate specific spreadsheet's to obtain the results needed. This has allowed us to have a much smoother streamlined process.
Unfortunately I have only used QuickBase so far.
I personally never had any coding training and mainly relied on my computer basics. However, with a few training sessions from IT personnel, I was assisted in setting up the tables that I needed and have been able to manage them on my own.

We tend to use the application that was customized for use. However, at one point I did try a QuickBase application to see if it would work for another department. To my surprise, it was a very simple process of transferring data to be able to use the QuickBase application and we only had to use minor customizing on our end.
For us, it is best suited for real time tracking. We deal with multiple clients and we need to be aware of where they are at all times. QuickBase is great for keeping my team on the same page. We don't really use QuickBase for billing as we have other means but we haven't looked into billing options on QuickBase.
