Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase
We use it for defect/issue tracking with our clients for all of our business domains.
Pros
- Quick deployment of a web-enabled collaborative tool with secure logon to a website.
- Easy to create professional layouts for client view.
- User creation and deployment very simple to manage and maintain.
- Exporting data to an Excel spreadsheet for easy analysis.
Cons
- A log file generator.
- Notification email engine that allows reports to be sent out people that are on a distribution list and doesn't require them to have a logon.
- The functionality to create a mapping document like a Visio diagram showing connections from a data element to a data element. Currently, there is a function to show relationships for databases, but I'm looking more for something that I can map within an Excel sheet that I can upload to QuickBase and for it to do an automatic mapping.
Don't have to be an expert or developer to use QuickBase. Quicker deployment. Support for now is excellent.
