Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase
We use it for defect/issue tracking with our clients for all of our business domains.
- Quick deployment of a web-enabled collaborative tool with secure logon to a website.
- Easy to create professional layouts for client view.
- User creation and deployment very simple to manage and maintain.
- Exporting data to an Excel spreadsheet for easy analysis.
- A log file generator.
- Notification email engine that allows reports to be sent out people that are on a distribution list and doesn't require them to have a logon.
- The functionality to create a mapping document like a Visio diagram showing connections from a data element to a data element. Currently, there is a function to show relationships for databases, but I'm looking more for something that I can map within an Excel sheet that I can upload to QuickBase and for it to do an automatic mapping.
We have been able to achieve this benefit shown in 3 of our apps that our client is quite happy with and depend on a daily basis. We've achieved it by QuickBase being easy to use and the great technical support team that supports the system.
Don't have to be an expert or developer to use QuickBase. Quicker deployment. Support for now is excellent.
I think it would be a 6.5-7 in difficulty for a non-technical person. Knowledge and databases, spreadsheets, analytics would be essential skills needed for this app.

It takes no time to update a QuickBase application. It is good to have an idea of what you want to build before you go into it. Setting up tables and importing data is a breeze. Copying applications to help with maintaining original applications before changes is quick.
