Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
Following up on past-due accounts receivable balances for your sales orders is a task that no one appreciates. Thanks to automated payment reminders, which helps us to do the business follow-up at ease. And not only detecting clients with past-due account balances but also sends late-paying consumers an email notice that their payment is past due. You may also specify your own settings for emailing out reminders, building a list of chronically late-paying clients, or letting the Quickbooks send out notifications to everyone who is past due using the payment reminders tool. It's all up to our operations and understanding between the from and clients. You also don't have to wait until a payment is past due to take action.
- Advanced reporting.
- Order management.
- Improved inventory management.
- Pricing features.
- We still depend upon third party services for uploading bank feeds.
- Few banks do not provide bank feeds, converting PDF's to bank feeds is challenge.
- If Quick Enterprise can build its own utility where we can convert PDFs to bank feeds. That would be great.
- The cost of the tool is appreciating year on year.
- Due to this, the firm needs to charge the clients accordingly.
- The kind of support we need like file conversions - Quickbooks is unable to do so, so we need to rely on third-party services. For Eg: One of the client's work has been done on enterprise edition when we send him a . QBB backfile. The client is unable to restore the file due to a compatibility issue. The client is using QB pro plus edition. It warns him saying"this file can only be open with enterprise edition". It's not worth it for a client to procure an enterprise subscription. This is a very negative impact on us.
The processing is very easy and hassle-free as long as have the right data received from our clients' end. But Every problem requires assistance from time to time, but it hasn't always been easy to locate the appropriate support options in QuickBooks enterprise applications. However, the Smart Assist tool can help to minimize some of that uncertainty by pointing you in the appropriate direction immediately. Now they have a call-back option as well. You will no longer have to waste time.
On the Network edition, it's a very simple process. We use the Microsoft Azure platform. We have an application server and a domain controller. The database manager and apps are very easy to deploy and we need to make sure our remote file paths and a quick scan. We are good to go from thereon. The services load upon startup, the web connector works smoothly. Generally, on a single Desktop, it should not be taking more than 20mins to get started.
Sometimes the account manager or the customer service agent supports us for a minimal period subscription for the Desktop Accountant version, where my client sends us an incompatible version. As we are legacy customers. They support us with a limited time-based license to convert the file to Enterprise Edition.
By comparing all these 3 tools. Quick Books approach is more intuitive, educative, lot of insights about yearly/quarterly state-wise changes, may it be forms, etc. while others are like they take a long time to release updates. QuickBooks support team and the tool knowledge base have to be appreciated. Moreover, FreshBooks, Xero, etc., are not corporate-level tools.
