Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise

We use for historical purposes now. We have yet to complete Annual Audit for 2022.

Pros

  • Editing Transactions
  • Filtering on Names
  • Standard Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss statements

Cons

  • 3rd party integration with payroll services
  • Time saving in making correction retroactive with edit features
  • Being able to customize and filter reports for specific purposes
  • To be able to review journal entries prior to posting

We are able to have at the user/project director level be able to have timely line-item expense level to compare against budget on a timely basis and make adjustments accordingly if needed. It other words the Project Director is able to self-monitor themselves in lieu having to reach out to Fiscal staff.
Quick Books Desktop Enterprise as it's pros and cons. Pro's is that is much more user friendly and intuitive to learn than other products. It does much better to revise or adjust retroactively to prior period when coding issues or even allocations issues are discovered without having to reverse and re-enter the transaction.
