Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Desktop Pro
Quickbooks is being used to manage the accounting of the entire business. The Quickbooks software enables be to manage all financial aspects of my business including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory all with just one piece of software. I'm also able to manage payroll by syncing the software to Intuit online payroll.
- Inventory Management
- Customer Management
- Vendor Management
- Generating financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet etc)
- Support should be US based, communication with support can be difficult at times.
- Too many updates. I don't think it's necessary to launch a new update every year.
- I don't think I should have to pay for a higher level of service to email a document as PDF.
- I wouldn't be able to run my business without it.
- It allows me to keep a close eye on my financials so I can make adjustments that will positively effect my ROI.
- Because the Quickbooks files are so widely accepted by financial professionals it saves me time in getting my info to my CPA.
Quickbooks owns their niche, so there really isn't a viable competitive product, however, several years ago I tried Peachtree accounting. The setup was not very intuitive. I don't have an accounting background so the setup was so difficult I eventually just gave up. Quickbooks just makes it so easy for someone with no accounting experience to set up and run their business.
