Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

QBO is my firm's primary accounting software for small businesses. QBO is used across the entire organization. It addresses reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial analysis and financial statement preparation.
  • I appreciate how QBO integrates with banks and remembers transactions to make reconciliations tremendously faster.
  • I love the catalog of 3rd party apps. There is something for every company.
  • The customization features are great.
  • The location of key processes is not intuitive.
  • Troubleshooting can be a pain. There are so many versions and products.
  • Data conversion could use some work. Still many complex nuances to figure out.
  • The new features have reduced my work time on clients.
  • The document management features have drastically increased my clients' personal data protection.
QuickBooks is the grand daddy of accounting. They cater to the end user. Xero caters to accounting and the cloud. Xero is constantly improving their products and services. QBO seems to be just doing enough to stay ahead.
