Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

I use Quickbooks Online to manage two recreational baseball league non profit organizations that have separate P&L's, but require allocating expenses.

Pros

  • Splits expenses and costs very well
  • Reconciles bank accounts
  • Allows for both cash and accrual basis accounting
  • 1099 tracking and filing

Cons

  • Bank recs can be too clunky
  • Would be good to be able to manage other payment forms - Venmo, Zelle, etc.
  • More flexibility in report writing
  • It's saved lots of time and money
  • Easy to transfer ownership from accountant to accountant
  • Reasonable from an expense perspective
Incredibly easy to hand off to others to work in, standardized reporting and entry makes consistency easy.
We did not look at any other products as QB online is typically considered best in class.

Incredibly easy to use and user friendly. Being web-based, SAAS, makes it easy to access from anywhere. Would be good if bill pay was more functional.
