Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Pro
Daily bookkeeping, A/R, A/P, reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting. The accounting department is outsourced to a contractor with the President & CEO having oversight. However, all have access and utilize QB on a daily basis for all financials within the organization.
- A/R-A/P Particularly with forecasting, budgeting and tracking
- Vendor tracking - Utilizing as a vendor information database with contact information and tax information is helpful.
- Customer tracking - Utilizing the Customer portal to track payments for all tuition for school and also billing/invoicing.
- Reports can manipulated for month end and quarterly reporting.
- Multi-user -with different access points for vendor, employee and audit firm usage.
- Design layout - graphics are a bit dated
- Color schemes - would be nice to customize
- Multi/single user notification - It would be helpful to know what mode it is when logging in in case you need it changed offsite with other users using the system remotely.
- Long term use - Once the system is set - ROI is endless due to the longevity of the program.
- Multi user - Being able to have multiple users, some remote, has been a very positive aspect of QB Pro.
- Upgrades within - It is nice the system will alert you when there are upgrades available, rather than have to upload a new version and upload/download files to a newer system.
- Overall, we have had the same QB system for many years and been happy with it.
QB Non-profit was not as user friendly in the actual "non-profit" modules. We have had more luck adjusting the QB Pro version to suit our needs as a non profit organization. Business is business, however the ways in which we forecast and budget can be different, as well as reporting features.
