Overall Satisfaction with Raiser's Edge NXT
Raiser's Edge NXT has been more user-friendly for our major gift officers (MGO) team and we are looking forward to more developments that will make it more friendly for the gift processing team. The dashboard, managing portfolios and creating list are basically effortless in NXT. Another highlight is that the MGOs can access what they need quickly and they don't have to go through the extra steps in the Citrix version.
Pros
- Attaching documents is very simple
- Dashboards are much simpler than Citrix
- Portfolio Management has been great
Cons
- Gifts processing would be nice (gift batching)
- Being able to produce detailed reports
- Complex query option
- Operational Efficiency
- Increased revenue from new donors
- Increased revenue from existing donors
- Reduced IT expenditure due to cloud deployment
- Increased scalability due to cloud deployment
Operation efficiency has been accomplished for the MGO team but more developments need to take place in order to include the gift processing and reporting team.
We have not seen the benefits of purchasing NXT. We are hoping to do more prospects research and increase our pipeline for major gifts.
