Overall Satisfaction with Raiser's Edge NXT
We recently implemented Raiser's Edge NXT in our advancement/development/fundraising department. So far it has been helpful in providing improved access for the users in looking up records, obtaining financial information, and adding actions and notes. It is easy to use through the Google platform, which is a plus and the interface is easier for many people to use rather than the database view.
- Looking up records is fast and easy and the information is displayed on the front page in a way that is easy to analyze.
- It provides helpful prompts about constituents.
- It is much easier to add notes and actions using Raiser's Edge NXT.
- We are still new the product, but I am impressed with the front-page analytics it provides.
- It would be nice if the administrators had access to edit more information on the Raiser's Edge NXT level.
- It would be nice to have additional filtering capabilities with the lists.
- A few of the settings by users are not readily apparent so we have to make sure they are viewing all the information correctly -- communications for example.

As stated previously, we are new to this platform in a small work environment so it will take some time for us to be able to evaluate whether these outcomes are achieved. I would say the cloud deployment is an instant success and expect it to increase our operational efficiency as well.
We benefit from AddressFinder, which helps us maintain up-to-date information on our donors and constituents. I have also participated in some webinars that were very helpful. Also the support services have been great in all my experiences. Whenever I've had a little problem or a big problem I have been able to quickly find a solution (if there is one) either online or through contact with Raiser's Edge support systems.
I have used Raiser's Edge since I began employment in my current position 14 years ago. I have also used Citrix/Jenzabar and find it is not anywhere near as useful for fundraising or tracking alumni for higher ed, although there may be components of it I have not used or that have not been available to me.
