Overall Satisfaction with Raiser's Edge NXT
Raiser's Edge NXT is used across my entire company in multiple departments as our main Customer Relationship Management database. We utilize RE NXT as a single platform to organized donor details from the Bio level to the Gift and Grant level. It allows us to stay on the same page throughout the company as well as keep departments connected with the most valuable information. When it comes to access, we provide certain individuals in each department access of varying levels depending on the necessity of their job. RE NXT has many options in regards to accessibility and this is something we look for in a CRM.
- Individual v Organization profile - the RE NXT platform clearly outlines the difference between Individual and Organization constituent profiles.
- Query - RE NXT has endless opportunities for reporting with it's Query function.
- Mail - the ability to send out Thank You letters and receipts with the internal mail function allows us to seamlessly communicate with our donors.
- Importing - I would like to see more functionality when it comes to automatic import of constituents and gifts.
- Exporting - I would enjoy seeing Blackbaud expand their exporting functionality to allow more information flow-through.
- Reporting - It would be ideal to have reporting and exporting move more smoothly with query outputs.
- Operational Efficiency

When it comes to Operational Efficiency, there is no doubt that Raiser's Edge NXT has allowed us to achieve that goal. We are saving hours per week with the ability to import and analyze our donor data. Cloud deployment has reduced our IT expenditure and increased scalability by giving us access to an endless platform of space!
Blackbaud has been our database of choice for many years. They do work with the best in the business of many organizations, including importing, technology, reporting, and analyzing. Blackbaud has a history of acquiring companies that are the best in the world and this highly benefits their own customers, including us.
- Donately
We use Donately as our forward facing donor platform and it has the ability to function as a CRM. After many meetings and discussions it is without a doubt going to remain our donor platform and not a CRM. For us, Raiser's Edge NXT makes far more sense to keep our data organized, clean, and able to speak with our other suite of products seamlessly.
