A fast and efficient link shortening service
Overall Satisfaction with Rebrandly
We use Rebrandly for every blog post & article we create. It's great because a lot of our documentation uses the short links that Rebrandly creates for us, and when sharing posts on social media channels or in internal knowledge-bases, keeping the links short is the key to getting more clicks on our posts.
Pros
- Quickly and easily create shortlinks for any link.
- Manage custom domains.
- Manage existing shortlinks and delete them quickly.
- Autoshare the created links to various social media channels.
Cons
- Ability to categorize links, for example, ones that are for knowledge bases and ones for blog posts.
- More clicks on our links.
- Less emails & messages from members/users asking where things are.
Bit.ly and other services that shorten and manage links are great, but there are a few problems:
- It can be expensive to add your own custom domain - with Rebrandly it's free.
- With certain products, you aren't able to set the link text, which can lead to confusing links like my.short.link/ah74vt rather than the cleaner my.short.link/rebrandlyreview.
