Overall Satisfaction with Renaissance Star Assessments
We use this twice a year, to gauge where the students are at and if they made any growth. Obviously, this could never be 100% as students may rush through the test or may not be focused.
- Evaluate student growth.
- Easy to review data.
- Allows students to understand their levels.
- The test is formatted [boringly] and students don’t find it entertaining.
- They don’t give easy access for parents to understand the results.
[My] organization has also worked at using iReady assessments which are a quicker test and a little bit more student friendly. We go back-and-forth between which one we want to use and it is up to the school sites.
