We use Rubrik to protect on-premise data from our revenue platform as well as Polaris to protect native Azure O365 data.

- Include MongoDB protection in Polaris native.
- Restore individual files from VMware virtual machines.
- Reduce the minimum value of frequency of backup jobs.
- Peace of mind that our corporate stack would be well protected when we decided to migrate to Azure O365.

Veritas NetBackup has been the main backup technology in our company for over 10 years.
However Rubrik is better adapted to new technologies such as hybrid clouds, native cloud protection or noSQL databases.
Also the operational cost of managing Rubrik is far less than NetBackup which represents a smaller overhead of the technical teams time to maintain the product and dedicate more time to other business tasks.
