Overall Satisfaction with Rubrik
We use Rubrik to backup our VM environment using snapshots, local backups are retained on-premises and in AWS. This provides quick restore options and prevents the loss of data as well as providing a quick way for us to restore should any issues occur. Rubrik also provides ransomware protection and checks for anomalies in the data thus providing us with 360 protection of our data.

Rubrik is very seamless and is super easy to connect to a VM environment. I find it is easier to configure and maintain than Veeam. One of the main reasons we selected Rubrik was the ease of deployment and the added ransomware protection. Ransomware attacks are on the rise especially with government and educational institutions in our state. It is important for us to safeguard our data and to be proactive instead of reactive.
Fortunately, we have not had a ransomware attack but we are certainly prepared for one. Rubrik backs up our data both on-premises and the Cloud so we can do a full restore should our data become compromised. Rubrik also checks for anomalies in the data itself to see if there are suspect additions and deletions of the data.
We do not use Rubrik to back up 365 but we may utilize it at some point in the future.
Rubrik provides us with the ability to use username/password authentication in addition to two-factor authentication which protects access to the platform and allows only those fully authorized to use it. This not only secures the platform but also the ability to change or manipulate the data within it.
