Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have over 40 Rubrik Clusters that we use at various Hearst holdings and within the past week, we just started using Office 365 backups as well.

Pros and Cons

VMware Backups
Office365 Backups
Archiving to multiple cloud resources

Can't think of anything as we just upgraded to a more recent OS version which has new capabilities that I haven't been able to fully explore and document yet.

Return on Investment

That's a bit higher level than I have access to

When I used Netvault in the past the interface was NOT intuitive especially when it came to setting up new jobs and adding new VM's to an existing backup job schedule. Adding a new VM used to take me approximately 45 minutes to make sure that everything was assigned properly. Rubrik, in comparison, is night and day easier than Netvault ever was accomplishing the same task takes me 5 to 10 minutes.

Especially in comparison to the old Backup Software that I used, Rubrik is AWESOME. The Rubrik Polaris UI is straightforward and simple to use. My only real issue is with their SLA email notifications and that if a single day's backup is missed or fails for some reason, you get emails about it that I can't find a way to stop. While I can certainly understand that most users would want to know and I include myself on that, to receive daily emails that I can't stop, it a bit overboard.
