Overall Satisfaction with RUN Powered by ADP®
We use Ziprecruiter for our hiring procedures. It has proven to be a sizeable contributor to our ability to find and hire applicants. We also use the HR Plus features to ensure we are keeping up to date with all the latest changes to the law. HR Plus also gives us access to support lines to aid in our compliance.
Our primary use of RUN Powered by ADP® is the payroll feature which I have been very happy with overall. It is simple and offers many situational columns that were a relief to be reduced to a simple numerical input rather than having to do manual calculations. We also use it for HR policy updates as well as premade forms for HR situations.
Pros
- Payroll processing is a simple easy input
- Customer support is always available for a call for any issues
- Employee information is easily access and adjusted if needed.
Cons
- I do wish there were additional custom deductions available rather than a limited amount.
- Sometimes employees have trouble accessing their account after the initial invite has been sent.
- Sometimes employee accounts get locked due to a reused email if their profile is deleted before they've signed up. Only a call to support can correct it.
- It has simplified the payroll process allowing more time to be dedicated elsewhere.
- We have been able to consolidate our health benefits, HR support, payroll and 401k all onto one provider, making support easy.
- We found the health deduction calculations and process to be easy-to understand, especially in comparison to our health provider.
The self-service portal has been beneficial to the employees who tend to be more tech savvy. They are able to input their information upon hire without issues most of the time. It also allows them the ability to change the direct deposit accounts or update their tax information without requiring the assistance of an account administrator.
The payroll interface has been the biggest benefit of this platform. Having several columns that cover the majority of foreseeable situational circumstances helps to make processing complex requests as easy as a simple numerical input. The automatic tax deductions and filings also help to make otherwise complicated tasks very simple.
