Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct has made data entry so easy and efficient! We use it strictly for accounting purposes and use it for everything from AP and AR to revenue. We love the ease of using templates as well as how easy it is to reconcile our bank accounts. We really love how reports are custom to all our companies needs. The board really loves the format of the P&L for our financial meetings. I don't know what we would do without Intacct! Thank you!!!
Pros
- Templates is a great way of adding large batches of AP invoices into the ledger. Really helpful when we are behind on importing bills and need to get caught up.
- The allocation feature is awesome for keeping our finances in order with have 12 different subsidiaries. Amazing tool!
- The dashboard tool is a great insight on where we are in a numerical and graph presentation. Love coming in the morning to check out our stats.
Cons
- I wish there was a way to see what is stuck in the queue when uploading templates. Sometimes I miss bills because I didn't realize something didn't upload properly and I was not notified.
- The credit card module does not have the ability to use allocations - huge room for improvement here.
- From our experience it seems like the website is slow majority of the time. Not sure if it's the amount of users but first thing in the morning bank reconciliations take us longer than they should.
- Positive is that we run a pretty efficient process and only need 2 people on our accounting team of 600 employees.
- It's really hard to tell how much positive impact it has had since we are a healthcare company and Intacct doesn't have any software that integrates with Intacct.
- The negative impact is that it takes us longer during month-end to do revenue because we have to pull from a few different systems and manually calculate revenue to import into Intacct.
We have benefited from ease of use and a highly efficient system. Our company process and the needs we have for Intacct are pretty limited to most companies but in reality we could have 1 person do everything - obviously there is a lack of segregation of duties so we have to have more people but it just goes to show how much we benefit from a cost perspective.
Unfortunately we do not use any other modules as there isn't a need for them within our organization. We use Concur for time and expense and eventually I would like to seek out an integration team to get Concur synced with Intacct to make our AP process even leaner and more efficient.
We used to use QuickBooks and man did that feel like the stone age. Intacct is user-friendly, aesthetically appealing and the customer service team is excellent. We love our account manager who is always there to help with anything we need - this really makes our experience that much better. Submitting a ticket to the Intacct Community portal is also super easy and helpful!
