Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
It is currently being used in our Client Accounting Services department nicknamed HBE 360. We switch current and new clients over to Sage Intacct from other accounting platforms and then act as their outsourced Finance department to assist in running their company. We have several different industries that we cover but mostly focus on Non-profit clients. Intacct has been a huge help with our Non-profit clients with its multiple different dimensions and wide range of reports that can be run to help with business analytics.
- Incorporates a variety of different dimensions that can be used to track and report important financial and statistical information. It helps clients with the overall management of their organizations.
- Allows the combination of several different reports into a package that can be run at a click of a button. This is very helpful with generating monthly financial reports that are presented to management and board members.
- Integration with different apps. We mostly utilize Bill.com with syncing AP into Intacct and look forward to meeting with other marketplace companies on how we can utilize their services as well. Bill.com has been awesome to use in tandem with Intacct for the Approval processes, document storage, and ease of payment capabilities.
- Automatic transaction matching with bank reconciliations is clunky. We choose not to use it currently with our clients.
- Being able to refund customers in the AR module instead of also creating the customer as a vendor.
- The report writer is robust but very finicky and can be hard to use to create reports in a short amount of time without making a change then previewing the report and then repeating those steps over and over and over.
- It has had a positive impact on our overall business objectives by providing our clients with an amazing alternative to the go to accounting software in our region, QuickBooks Desktop and Online.
We have mostly used the multi-entity capabilities and it has been awesome being able to incorporate multiple different entities under the same umbrella without having to create multiple different company files (as you would in QuickBooks).
Sage Intacct is far above QuickBooks with it's cloud capabilities, syncing with other apps, etc. It is a far superior product in my opinion.
