Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct provides an accounting solution for claims payments. It is also used across the organization as our primary accounting vendor.
- API seems strong.
- Solution is robust/accurate.
- Accounting team seems to like it.
- Documentation for API needs improvement.
- Data ingress/egress is difficult. Data is obviously not intended for use outside of UI. I built an ETL process to extract data from Intacct and it's not very sensible.
- Integrations with Intacct seem buggy.
- Necessary for operations.
- Many difficulties in reconciling accounts.
- Has allowed the business to function.
Although many aspects of the ledger are automated, some members of staff still spend hours reconciling accounts. The process of making the data available to do this automatically was quite difficult without an accounting background and given difficulties with API. We also used to have issues that resulted in Intacct, the bank, and the transaction system falling out of sync. Otherwise functional.
