Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is used by the entire organization. Finance associates use it for the accounting system. The remainder of the associates use it for time tracking, purchase requests. Executive management team uses it for financial reporting. The business problems it addresses are: import of travel expenses, purchase ordering and approval, time tracking, reporting and audit review.
Pros
- Purchasing requests and approvals are easy to track in Sage Intacct
- The system is very easy to query data
- The cloud based, real time functions make it easy to see results
- Ease of changing journal entires
Cons
- The ability to change bills/invoices that may have been recorded in error
- The ability to create and run reports easier
- To be able to understand errors from the import of expense reports
- I believe Sage partners well with companies like Stampli and brittenford, which helps us manage our processes
- very easy to learn and train users
- Helps us minimize duplicate payments
We have recently gone paperless in our accounts payable process by partnering with Stampli. This is something I never imagined, but Sage Intacct and Stampli made this possible. The results have saved us from needing to add headcount to our organization. It also helped us be more efficient with our users.
I was not part of the conversion from our prior accounting system
