Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We have 25+ companies and use it across the board. As we have a number of consolidation groups, the software solved a number of problems for us, including easy download capability, robust consolidation across companies and flexible report generation. Additionally, the ability to purchase bolt-on specialty software enhanced our usage.

- Are able to close the month much earlier. Went from 30+ day close to an 8 day close.
Intacct operates as expected for a software this robust. Having to handle manual close would not work. No worries, here.
We use project accounting for our government sub-contracting company. Reporting is good, but hard to integrate labor and costs.
Since we needed project accounting, it was a longer process than we had hoped for. For standard companies, the integration was a breeze.
When you have multiple companies, want easy access without logging in and out, and need to run reporting across various companies, Intacct is the only way to go. It's nice to have this ability without paying the price of an Oracle or SAP level software.
I think the software might be overkill for a small shop that doesn't require such robust features.
