Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We are using Sage Intacct as our ERP. Because is it cloud based and integrates with hundreds of applications it is the corner stone of our paperless AP department. We have integrated it with an invoicing solution and have recently on boarded an expense reporting tool that will be integrated with Sage Intacct through the API.
Pros
- Integration.
- Vendor master file management.
- Accounts payable.
- General ledger.
Cons
- Form 1099-MISC compilation and filing.
- Reporting can be cumbersome, must have experience with a report writer.
- Dashboards - They tout Dashboards but they can be difficult to understand how to use.
- We have been able to automate and digitize processes.
- We have been able to work remotely.
- The bank reconciliation needs work. Our bank feed is not yet functioning.
- We have been able to customize the system without the use of our IT department.
- We can create reports needed for regulatory compliance ourselves.
We have benefited from automation enormously. During this unprecedented time of Covid-19 we have been able to continue to process 100% of our accounts payable due the integrations with Sage Intacct, Yooz and Certify. Because of our Sage Intacct customizations and integrations we have seen how easily we can work remotely.
We have explored and seen demonstrations for the "expense management" module, however we found it limiting in scope and not suitable for our needs. None of the other modules actually fit our needs.
We evaluated Netsuite as well and found it to be bulky and cumbersome.
