Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We are using Intacct mainly in the accounting department, but then also have individuals across the organization using the Time and Expense module. Intacct solves a lot of problems, the main ones being ASC606 tracking, robust financial reporting, and automation of manual tasks such as AP, AR, consolidation, and financial reporting.
Pros
- ASC606 tracking
- Automation
- Financial reporting
- Partnering with other vendors and seamlessly integrating with them
Cons
- There is limited training up front.
- Prepaid and Fixed Asset modules could use a face-lift.
- The Fixed Asset module is not as intuitive as the rest of the system.
- Automation has saved us time and allowed us to work on more meaningful tasks.
- Contracts module has allowed us the ability to track ASC606 information.
- Business insights are more easily obtained.

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?
Yes
We have definitely benefited from automation in all of those areas. In some instances, we are using a third party to help facilitate, but they all integrate seamlessly with Intacct. I would say the general ledger automation has been the greatest benefit as we are able to do a lot of things we weren't able to do previously.
We previously used QuickBooks, which is a great beginner system, but we needed a much more robust system in order to scale our business. Sage Intacct has more than provided that much needed increase in robustness and has us setup to be very successful over the next several years as our business continues to grow.
