Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct for our non-profit organization, we have 3 users, I am a "super user". It allows us to keep better track of our books.

Pros

  • Invoicing and working with a 3rd party
  • Keeping all of the information you in detail
  • User Friendly

Cons

  • The reporting aspect is difficult, especially transitioning from QB's to Sage.
  • Sage is definitely the most expensive accounting software we have ever had as an association, however, I think that it's truly worth it.
I think that there are some aspects to which there could be more instruction. Again, coming from QB's I think that there is a lot of things we need to relearn.
Hands down the fastest support we get.
I will say that coming from a very manual software to Sage [Intacct] has been very good for us. We don't have to duplicate what we do, things are very automated.

QB's Enterprise we had to have a remote log in, which without judging anything else, is a pain and inconvenient. I can log on anywhere to Sage Intacct to check our books. Sage 500 was a long time ago, and quite frankly I don't remember much about that.
Sage Intacct is good for our type of business as we need all the little details. If you are a smaller company, Sage Intacct would be too much for you.
