Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Sage Intacct is being used for all financing transactions of the association. We have paired the bank account, will be doing reconciliations, invoicing etc through Sage [Intacct]. We also use Invoiced as a partner to receive payments for our invoices.

We had to do virtual training when we onboarded with Sage and it was difficult to understand our trainers most of the time.
Also with training, we would ask for help on how to do tasks specific to our association, and the answer would be a generalized review of training and not actually tell us how to get what we needed.

Return on Investment

We have only been using Sage Intacct since May 2020. So far it seems to be much better than our previously used system.
Reports is a huge positive for our association.

Usability

For the most part Sage [Intacct] is very user friendly. There are some aspects of the system that have been tricky to figure out and when reaching out for help, it has been difficult to get answers that translate to our associations specific needs.

Support Rating

Our main support and training person was SO amazing. Unfortunately, there was a previous person who was hands on with training and on-boarding in the beginning of our journey with Sage Intacct and she was extremely difficult to understand and would contradict herself between meetings with information when we asked questions. When asked how to do things specific to our association and needs, there were not straight forward answers given and I often left more confused than before the questions were asked.

Sage Intacct Automation

I wasn't involved in this aspect of our books before coming to Sage [Intacct], so I don't think I can appropriately answer this question on how we have benefited in comparison to the previous system. I will say that the core financial processes and reporting on them are much easier to use than our previous system in terms of having to try and go back into the old system and pull old data.

Sage [Intacct] is well suited for invoicing and reporting. I am excited to see detailed reports once we have our website linked to the Sage Intacct system.

Easy to use but virtual training is not optimal for all features.
