Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Intacct is the backbone of all our business information systems. Assimilating data from multiple sources and systems to provide us with a complete summary of our financial position and performance. As we grow, it allows us to easily monitor financial information across multiple cross-sectional units. This also allows for faster more accurate proposals and reports to funders.
  • extremely flexible in organizing financial information
  • integrates well with other systems
  • Powerful reporting
  • many choices and options take a while to master
  • difficult to correct mis entered transactions
  • the time saved in automating these processes has allowed us to save on personnel costs
  • Speed of preparing financial projections for proposals allows us to close funding quicker
The automation of routine financial processes allows our finance team to focus on higher-value functions - like planning and forecasting. This makes us a better-managed organization. Also, automating payables and receivables leads to be better collections and faster payments keeping employees and vendors happy.
Sage Intacct sent me to a vendor who specialized in implementing nonprofits similar to us. This saved us time and money and made for especially easy implementation. There is definitely a learning curve in configuring Intacct but once you get the hang of it it's quite simple. Sage offers numerous video courses to help master the system.

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

Yes

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

Yes

Prior to selecting Intacct, we reviewed multiple systems. Ultimately we chose Intacct due to its power, flexibility, and ability to integrate with other systems. We found QBO too limiting in its power and features, Netsuite too expensive and too much of a "walled garden" and Blackbaud to clunky and buggy with poor user reviews.
Sage Intacct is particularly useful in an organization with multiple departments, locations, and projects. The ability to customize reporting units with any combination of dimensions makes delivering exactly the right financial information to each stakeholder easy. The underappreciated budgeting and forecasting module allow for easy planning with multiple department and unit heads.
