Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We have clients that use Sage Intacct and we handle their financials, AP/AR, Budget, and Bank Reconciliations. Sage Intacct has a wide variety of options for GL account strings and tracking that information. One of the features that we enjoy the best is the attachments, so you can view a check or invoice or W-9 if you upload it. [It is] very easy to use.
- Attaching documents
- Drill down easy to see
- Journal entries (reversals, duplications, etc.)
- Importing
- Syncing issues with certain platforms, such as Ramp
- Positively [and] has been a learning curve for some jumping from QBO to this more complex system.
General Ledger is the key in any accounting software and Sage Intacct definitely gives you the flexibility to add and drill down into the deeps of tracking. AP and AR have the ability to upload the vendor information and keep the invoices or checks altogether. I haven't used order management.
Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?
Yes
Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Sage Intacct again?
Yes
The main difference I saw with Sage Intacct vs Abila MIP is that the reporting is WAY simpler and Sage Intacct is way more user-friendly. I have used other platforms but they are mostly obsolete now. Of course, with QBO, the platform has a harder time with large GL strings so it isn't a real comparison.
