Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Our business relies on Sage Intacct for almost all of our accounting needs. We use it to maintain our accounting records, run reports, pay AP bills, record and bill sales, and more. It helps us stay organized by keeping everything in one system and can easily integrate with our other software systems.
- It gives users access to a vast array of reporting options with the ICRW add-on.
- It easily syncs with other software systems, like Salesforce, to make day-to-day work seamless.
- It provides the freedom to customize all aspects of the system to meet your company's needs.
- The self-help and training resources could be better. It is difficult to find quick answers sometimes, especially for reporting questions.
- Complex reports can experience regular downtime around the end of the month.
- Sage Intacct has made it easier for us to track our KPIs through its reporting features.
- The dashboard reporting feature has made it easier for us to track our progress in different areas throughout the month.
- The ability to use plug-ins, like the J.P. Morgan plug-in, saves us a lot of time when paying bills. That time saved can then be spent working directly on our goals and KPIs.
While our company has not yet taken full advantage of Sage Intacct's automation capabilities, we have used the automated journal entry feature, which has been great. This feature allows you to schedule recurring journal entries that happen on a regular basis rather than having users spend time preparing and uploading these entries regularly.

In the past, I have used Zuora for SaaS accounting. Sage Intacct is undoubtedly superior in its reporting capabilities and overall functionality. Because of its broad capabilities, Sage Intacct does have a much higher learning curve than Zuora, but the ROI on that time spent training is well worth it.
