Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We brought all accounting and finance in-house after years of using a third-party accounting firm. We wanted a deeper level of transparency and the ability to know in real-time all budgeted expenses and the ability to report to our Board and Granting entities, up to date information without having to wait for intelligence from a third party.

- Report Building is a VERY time intensive module. You cannot "find" your way through any report building with Sage Intacct. You must be taught and even then, you may need professionals to build the reports for you.
- Sage Intacct is not intuitive or user-friendly, there is a basic level of training that needs to happen as opposed to other programs that walk you through as you go and intuit needs and save info. Everything in Sage Intacct is a deliberate choice.
- We are too new to give hard numbers but it has made us transparent and able to give live, real numbers to grantors and Board.
Our organization has begun to see the benefits of this internal automation, now that we are getting more up to speed with our Report clarification.
We just signed on to ADP for Sage Intacct, it is working smoothly overall.

We were all used to QuickBooks so this was a huge departure for us. Sage Intacct won for future-proofing our organization.
