Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We utilize Sage Intacct as our main ERP system. We use this for all accounting and job tracking/costing functions. This product addresses reporting issues we have had in the past with our previous software. Our previous software did not have the customization and accurate reporting that Sage Intacct provides for income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reporting functions that we use monthly. In addition the ease of journal entries is much more smooth compared to our prior software.
Pros
- Financial Reporting.
- Data Entry.
- Easy to learn.
Cons
- Ease of creating custom reports.
- Following up on where postings come from.
- Accurate Work In Process Reporting.
- Accurate Financial Reporting.
- True Job Costing Reports.
Our organization has benefited from all the financial processes that Sage Intacct has to offer. General ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and order management. Although we had these functions in our old system, it was not up to date and did not offer nearly as much as Sage Intacct does. Everything from where general postings to inter-company automated postings, etc.
We have not utilized the multi-entity, but we have the ability to. I have witnessed it and think that in the future, this will be a helpful tool to possibly transition to, instead of using only the top level. That would be a big change, but something that I think our organization would benefit from. We also use project accounting, and although I am not a big user of this module, it provides a better insight into project tracking and costing than we have had in the past.
