Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
I work in a multi entity fast paced environment. Sage Intacct makes it incredibly easy to toggle back and forth. I am incredibly appreciative of the intercompany resources available at Sage Intacct. The layout is intuitive and is helpful for our organization and lends itself to training. It's fairly easy to train an employee on the system, because the functions are intuitive. It is easy to create departments and do comprehensive KPI tracking within the system and allows me to print consolidated financial reports.
Pros
- Intercompany access to different companies
- Split out ability for locations, departments, class codes
- Report Writing
Cons
- Month End Automation
- Leasing Software
- Prepaid Module could be more intuitive - currently use recurring JE's
- Makes it faster to do business
- Easier to catch issues on intercompany
- Saved 10 hours a month on just logging in and out to different companies
We have set up recurring AP and general ledger entries. This makes it incredibly easy to set up some processes and just move forward on our day, and double check at the end of the month that everything is in balance. This helps the team work in a more streamlined environment. It also puts a stop to people forgetting to do things like managed prepaids, and saves time by automating process in Accounts Payable and Prepaid.
There are 20 entities my team works with. Sage Intacct makes it incredibly easy to toggle back and forth. Furthermore, in the previous environment our team did not have the capacity to print consolidated financial statements. Sage Intacct allows this capacity when printing reports from the Top Level. This has made management incredibly happy when looking through reports.
I think that Sage Intacct is quicker, more robust, and easier to work in. While I think that most accounting systems offer the same functions, and can be figured out, I did find Intacct to be more intuitive. I also find it is easy to troubleshoot issues in the system. I can generally fix issues myself, or look how to resolve situations in the Intacct Community or even via Google.
