Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Love the integration Sage Intacct has with Ramp for credit card purchasing and bill pay. It makes our accounts payable processes so easy, specifically keeping track of receipts and total expenses. The journal entry import function has also made our switch from Quickbooks to Sage Intacct smoother as we were able to export historical transactions directly from QB to store in Intacct.
Pros
- Sync with Ramp
- Journal entry import
- Getting approvals from the check signers through Intacct makes paying bills by check more simple than taking the checks for a wet signature
Cons
- It would be nice to be able to save credit card charge offs as a draft to come back to later
- Would like to be able to navigate between fields in a journal entries using keyboard arrows
- Send reminder notifications to check signers to approve payments
- Expense tracking has helped us reduce unnecessary spending
- AP functions has helped keep due dates organized so we can avoid late fees
We've benefited from the general ledger and accounts payable automations. The automation has kept everything simple and organized.
I only used QuickBooks to export historical transactions to then import into Sage Intacct but Sage Intacct seemed to be laid out better and the interface was cleaner and intuitive.
