Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Commerce Cloud

- It is a very nice solution for managing for managing your online B2C stores. Supports localization of language, currency, and catalog. - It is quite efficient for order processing across multiple channels, allowing businesses to automate fulfillment, manage payments, and manage returns efficiently. - Even the dealer management is quite easy to manage.

Pros

  • Organizing customer data is friction-free, so one can create personalized experiences for users
  • The platform's scalability for large customer base is too good
  • Page and Catalogue designing is seamless

Cons

  • More Automations : Almost everything is done manually
  • The platform UI is quite primitive, needs a revamp
  • Improve the documentation and Support service
  • Currently the pricing of the tool might force us to go for cheaper alternatives.
  • Catalogue management has become quite seamless but again the costs outweigh the benefits by a lot
  • Most of my team is non-technical in nature, so most folks are on a steep learning curve to use the product
- Negative points for steep learning curve, primitive UI, and narrow customisation options - Another negative point for absence of meaningful automations across the platform. A lot of Manual labour is required. - I would give it a positive rating for platform scalability, inventory management. Ideal for large business who can afford such prices
1. The learning curve of Shopify is not too steep, so it does create hinderance for non-technical folks 2. I personally found the AI-powered insights in Shopify to be more accurate than the ones provided in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

- I think it is most well suited for businesses that are huge in size, since the platform's scalability is really good for handling huge customer's bases, large catalogue sizes. - In my opinion, it is not at all appropriate for people who are not technical in nature. Not easy to build from scratch for non-technical folks
