Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Partner Management

Salesforce Partner Management is used in our company to manage business leads, pipeline and order information from our large network of Distributors in a way that integrates with our internal CRM, i.e. the Salesforce CRM. It provides us a secure and practical way to provide access to partners to input data into our CRM but in a partitioned state. We can have all the information and KPIs to track, while the partners will access only their information.

Since our main CRM for the business is Salesforce, the choice for the Salesforce Partner Management was a no-brainer and no other option was researched at the time. While it would not be ideal in most scenarios, for us it proved to be the right choice under our timeframe and needed capabilities. Salesforce delivered it.

If your business relies on resellers, distributors or partners to sell your products in certain territories and your company CRM is Salesforce, using the SFA Partner Management to integrate would be the logical choice as you can keep your Salesforce CRM as the "source of truth" for your business without having to use multiple tools and systems.

Using Salesforce Partner Management

100 - Salesforce Partner Management is used in my organization by internal employees and, naturally, by a large number of resellers and Distributors that need access to certain areas of our CRM, so we can have visibility of Distributors lead management, quoting and order management, as well as client relationship management and tracking/reporting.
3 - We have a Team of 3 Salesforce technicians responsible to support the company globally in regards to our Salesforce Partner Management day-to-day requirements, as well as updates, maintenance and customizations that over time are required and performed internally. That is an important aspect of the product success in the company; continuous support and enhancement.
  • Distributor Portal Management
  • Visibility on Channel Distribution
  • Integration between Direct and Indirect Channels
  • It will continuously evolve
  • chat functions might be the next innovation
We are definitely going to renew as we created and developed a very functional and complete solution that we won't want to lose. and the reason we achieved that is by continuously evolving and enhancing. That would not be possible without the qualified technical support we have at our disposal internally.

Using Salesforce Partner Management

Salesforce Partner Management is complete and has great usability. Just as a Salesforce full CRM does. However, when you have to deploy the initial implementation and/or create the infrastructure for your Salesforce Partner Management it might require, as expected, a very good support and development team and resources.

Yes - Overall the mobile interface is very well done. I personally prefer the desktop interface for a business application but if you are on the go or also in need to be "always-on" the mobile interface will keep you on and you will not feel disrupted. It does do it well.
