Use Cases and Deployment Scope

SAP Concur is taking care of all the business-related travel and miscellaneous expenses we are spending for the resources which means it tracks and keeps the invoice for all the data. It helps with the reimbursement of expenses in case we have given from our pocket for any events later with this application we are getting reimbursed. Also it has very good approval setup in place which maintains legitimacy.

Concur Travel and Expense Integration

We have integrated SAP Concur with Uber for Business application, and so far it's really working very well without any issues. Hence, it's good. Also, it has a lot of 3rd party applications integrated by default, like ticketmanager, Groundscope, but I didn't use those applications much.

We using SAP Concur from last 6 years for managing all the expenses we do in our organization which includes team building activities, team dinner/lunch, spirit awards and travel expenses for all these we use this application to get the reimburse done and it has proper approvals ladder which keeps all reimbursement legit and it provides graps and reports to track all our expenses in one go.

Yes, with this application, a lot of manual efforts are getting saved. Also, it avoids duplicate reimbursement and provides proper reports and graphs for the user and has a very streamlined approval process, which keeps track of accuracy and avoids fraudulent activities.

Lessons from Success

I always ask for bills for the expenses I made because without proper bills, we cannot be reimbursed in concur. It also keeps track of expenses for us, and it helps a lot in managing travels and all business-related events.

We have a standard version, and with that, we are able to manage whatever we need for the business; hence, we didn't opt for the premium version.

Reliability and Availability

It's highly reliable when they have planned maintenance, they update us very well in advance, and we monitor those emails and are prepared. And not seen any adhoc outages as such.

Performance

Performance-wise, it's good, loads pages quickly, and reports are highly accurate and easy to understand. Also, we can generate custom reports as needed, and we have integrated with a few other apps, and we have not seen any downgrade in performance.
