Overall Satisfaction with SAP Crystal Server
SAP Crystal Server is used in many departments in our company. I specifically use it in the Engineering department to make sure that our project deadlines are going to be met. I run several reports that help me analyse the progress of the projects, and also to track that the materials that we need to manufacture the projects.
- Very easy to create customised reports
- Great for running weekly progress reports
- Mobile integration
- The UI could be improved
- We had a few problems with importing data
When we evaluated several options, we found SAP Crystal Server to be more reliable than some of its competitors. We wanted something that we could customise to use in several departments and for all different types of situations where reports would be useful. We also use other complimentary SAP products which we acquired at the same time and the combination of products was best for us.
- We are better able to keep track of projects and timelines, has helped us speed up the pace of several projects because we can identify problems before they become big problems
- Helped us get closer to just-in-time material ordering
